Megan Kuensting

Megan Kuensting is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and community engagement within prominent cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Events at Axios since October 2024, Megan's previous roles include Director of Community Learning and Partnerships at PBS from May 2019 to October 2024, as well as various positions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from April 2013 to May 2019, where responsibilities ranged from Assistant Educator to Program Assistant. Earlier career positions include Family Activity Kiosk Coordinator and Teen Volunteer Supervisor at the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, Intern/Volunteer Coordinator at Gage Academy of Art, and American English Language Assistant with the French Ministry of Education. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Portland.
