Sara Fischer

Sara Fischer is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and political communication. Currently serving as a Media Correspondent and previously as a Senior Media Reporter at Axios since December 2016, Sara also contributes as a Media Analyst at CNN, a role commenced in September 2022. Past positions include Digital Producer at The Washington Post, Global Advocacy & Political Advertising at The New York Times, and various roles at CNN, Politico, and National Journal. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication and Journalism, as well as a Master of Arts in Legislative Affairs, both from The George Washington University.
