Lead UX Designer at Axis Communications

Nora Demeter has a strong background in UX design and content management. Nora started their career at Semcon, where they worked as a Lead Training developer at Gambro and later as a Consultant at Ericsson. In 2015, they joined Sigma Technology AB as a Content Manager at Sony Mobile, where they identified user problems and created support content for Android and Sony Mobile applications. In 2018, they joined Axis Communications as a Lead UX Designer and eventually became the Chairman of UX at Axis until 2022.

Nora Demeter pursued their education in a variety of fields. Nora obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Media Technology from Óbuda University from 2004 to 2008. Later, they attended Malmö University from 2013 to 2015 and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interaction Design. In 2015 and 2016, Nora obtained certifications in User-Centered Design and Psychology of Interaction Design from The Interaction Design Foundation. Nora also completed a certification in UX Management and UX Research from Nielsen Norman Group in 2019. Additionally, Nora earned several additional certifications such as UX Management: Strategy and Tactics in 2023 from the Interaction Design Foundation, a certification in Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman in 2021 from The Interaction Design Foundation, Conducting Usability Testing certification in 2017 from The Interaction Design Foundation, and HTML5 Introduction certification in 2016 from W3Cx.
