Assistant Director Of Data Science at Axle Informatics

Nicholas Schaub has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Nicholas started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2015 and continued in the same role until 2017. After that, they joined the University of Michigan Medical School as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Nicholas joined Axle Informatics as a Senior Data Scientist, and they worked in this role until 2021. Following that, they were promoted to Lead Data Scientist and held the position from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Nicholas is working at Axle Informatics as the Assistant Director of Data Science, starting from January 2022.

Nicholas Schaub began their education at Muskegon Community College in 2002, and completed their studies there in 2005. Nicholas then transferred to Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2006, where they focused on Philosophy and Religious Studies. However, it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. Subsequently, Schaub attended Michigan Technological University from 2008 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Finally, Schaub pursued their highest level of education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2011 to 2015, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
