Michael Hawkins has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. From 1997 to 2000, they worked at Iomega as a Software Research Engineer and then as a Software Developer and Co-Founder of Ionsoft. In 1999, they took a role with IBM Global eBusiness Integration as a Software Integration Specialist. In 2009, they founded MLH Software, a company that creates applications for BlackBerry smartphones. From 2013 to 2021, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Vivify Health, a mobile digital health platform. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Optum, where they oversaw the rapid growth of their team and the platform due to the investment from Optum and the increased demand for virtual healthcare. In 2021, they joined Patient Discovery as the Chief Technology Officer, and in 2023 they joined Axuall in the same role.
Michael Hawkins attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
