Li-Fan Yang

Li-Fan (Evan) Yang is a Senior Photonic Packaging Engineer at Ayar Labs since May 2021, specializing in process recipe, material development, and station design, along with experience in alignment techniques and ecosystem management. Prior to this role, Yang completed a Ph.D. and post-doctoral work at Purdue University from September 2013 to May 2021, focusing on photonics integrated circuit design and data analysis. Yang also served as a Research Assistant at National Tsing Hua University from August 2009 to July 2012, contributing to the development of ultrafast pulse techniques and fiber lasers. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Optics and Photonics from Purdue University and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Ultrafast Photonics and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from National Tsing Hua University.
