Matthew Morgen, CFRE, CSPG, serves as the Director of Donor Relations at the Ayn Rand Institute since June 2024, following a role as the Director of Individual Giving at Pacific Symphony. With an extensive background in fundraising, Matthew held the position of Director of Development at the Ayn Rand Institute from August 2008 to July 2023, leading the organization's fundraising initiatives and significantly increasing donor revenue and engagement. Earlier roles include Development Account Manager and Education Program Manager at the Ayn Rand Institute, where Matthew cultivated valuable donor relationships and managed educational outreach programs. Matthew earned a Bachelor's degree in History from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Irvine, California, works to introduce young people to Ayn Rand’s novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience. The Institute is named for novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand (1905-1982), who is best known for her novels The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged.
