Immigrant Justice Fellow at Ayuda

Jennifer Morton is an Immigrant Justice Corps Justice Fellow at Ayuda, beginning in September 2023. Previous experience includes a Summer Associate role at Ropes & Gray LLP and an Immigration Defense Externship at The Legal Aid Society. At Columbia Law School, Jennifer served as a Research Assistant for Professor Funk on the Bail Liens Project. Prior to law-related roles, Jennifer worked in various capacities at Bonefish Grill. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from North Carolina State University. Additional education includes attendance at the Université catholique de Lille.

Through its offices in Takoma, DC and Falls Church, VA, Ayuda has amassed a 40-year history of providing critical services on a wide range of issues, and in the process, has acquired nationally recognized expertise in immigration law, domestic violence and human trafficking, among other fields.
