Margarita Martinez is an experienced professional in career and school counseling, currently serving as the Managing Director at the Multicultural Career Center since February 2022. In this role, Margarita maintains high standards in human resource management and financial operations while establishing processes for interviews and placements. Margarita previously held the position of President at the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development and worked for Northern Virginia Community College as an Academic Success Counselor and Instructor, where responsibilities included standardizing curriculum and advising students on academic and personal matters. With a background in counseling from George Mason University, Margarita has also provided mentorship and support to diverse student populations across various educational institutions, facilitating academic success and financial aid processes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Counselor Education and certifications in Human Resources Management.

Through its offices in Takoma, DC and Falls Church, VA, Ayuda has amassed a 40-year history of providing critical services on a wide range of issues, and in the process, has acquired nationally recognized expertise in immigration law, domestic violence and human trafficking, among other fields.
