Nancy B. is an accomplished grant manager and writer with extensive experience in developing competitive funding proposals for government, foundation, and corporate support. At Ayuda since February 2022, Nancy has successfully forged relationships with funders, conducted prospect research, and coordinated grant applications while supervising the Grants Coordinator. Previous roles include managing language access services for legal providers, analyzing data for marketing strategies at Seafood Producers Cooperative, and supporting faculty research at Western Washington University. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Spanish from Western Washington University.

Ayuda is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing direct legal and social services, education, and outreach to low-income immigrants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Through its offices in Takoma, DC and Falls Church, VA, Ayuda has amassed a 40-year history of providing critical services on a wide range of issues, and in the process, has acquired nationally recognized expertise in immigration law, domestic violence and human trafficking, among other fields. We have 50+ full-time, bi-lingual attorneys and social workers/case managers providing legal, social, and language access services and we have assisted immigrants in more than 100,000 cases and counting.
