Richard Horstmann, CM, serves as the Vice President of Aviation at Azar Design Co since March 2024 and holds the position of Vice President of Business Development for Aviation & Federal Industries at KS Engineers, PS since January 2012. At KS Engineers, Richard reports directly to the President and is tasked with expanding the aviation and federal practice areas, achieving $16M in new revenue and securing 20 contracts over eight years. Previously, Richard held roles including Director of Development at Urban Engineers, Inc., where strategic marketing initiatives were led, Senior Project Manager at Jacobs focusing on airport planning, and Deputy Director of Airports for the Delaware River and Bay Authority, overseeing multiple airport facilities. Richard earned a BS in Air Commerce Transportation Technology and Business Management, as well as an AS in Air Commerce Transportation Technology, from the Florida Institute of Technology.
