Gunel Behbudova Ph.D.

Gunel Behbudova, PhD, ACCA, DipIFR, and MBA, currently serves as the Head of the Compliance Department and Head of Compliance Service at PASHA Insurance OJSC since June 2021, with a preceding role as a compliance service coordinator and lead compliance specialist. In addition to these positions, Gunel serves as a Master degree lecturer at Baku Business University and a university lecturer at Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University. Previous experience includes leading internal audit operations at Kapital Bank and various roles within the Ministry of Taxes, Republic of Azerbaijan, including Senior Tax Inspector. Gunel's educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor's degree in Law from Baku State University, a Ph.D. in economy with a focus on finance from Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, an MBA in finance from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Tax Law from the same institution.
