Sergey Poplujniy

Sergey Poplujniy has extensive experience in IT planning and architecture, currently serving as the Head of IT Planning and Engineering Department and the Head of IT Solutions Architecture and Technology unit at Azerconnect Group since October 2021. Previously, Sergey held the position of Solution Architect at Azercell Telecom LLC from August 2019 to October 2021, and served as the Head of IT Solutions Architecture and Technology unit at Azerconnect LLC from May 2017 to July 2019. Sergey’s earlier experience includes a role as Senior Specialist in Services and Products Development at Azerfon LLC, where responsibilities included creating technical design documentation and developing integration requirements. Sergey also worked as a Billing Administrator, managing postpaid and prepaid charging and billing systems and implementing new marketing products and promotions. Sergey holds a Master’s degree in Automation Engineering from the National Aviation Academy in Baku, earned from 2000 to 2005.
