Thorsten Albers

Thorsten Albers currently serves as the Chief Digital and Customer Experience Officer and Chief Technology Strategy Officer at Azerconnect LLC since January 2019. Previously, Thorsten held significant leadership roles at Deutsche Telekom, including Executive Program Manager for Strategic Projects, focusing on operations and technical service across Europe. As Managing Director at Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net, Thorsten established an automated cloud-based test environment for services. Thorsten's experience also includes serving as Chief Technical and IT Officer at Hrvatski Telekom, overseeing major broadband rollouts, LTE expansion, and service introductions. Other responsibilities spanned various leadership roles in telecommunications across Central and Eastern Europe, with a strong emphasis on technology transformation and operational efficiency. Thorsten holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering and Information and Communication Technology from Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven.
