Anar Abdullayev, MBA, currently serves as the Technical Advisor to the Chairman at AzerGold CJSC since January 2023. Previously, Anar accumulated extensive experience at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) from April 2012 to August 2023, holding several key positions including Drilling Advisor to the General Manager and Head of the Offshore Drilling Division for the Bulla-Umid Field. Anar started a career in the oil and gas industry as a Drilling Engineer and progressed through various roles, including Deputy Head of the Technology Department. Prior to SOCAR, Anar was an Operations Supervisor at Maaden and held roles as a Drilling Engineer and Directional Driller at Integra. Anar Abdullayev earned an MBA in Oil and Gas Business Management from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
