Ilyas Ismayilli currently serves as the Deputy Head of the Strategic Planning and Projects Management Department at AzerGold CJSC, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ilyas worked as a Project Manager for Cop28 at Identity Middle East and was Deputy Head of Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan from March to September 2023. Previous experience includes managing village operations at NEOM Beach Games and Expo 2020 Dubai, as well as serving on the World Scout Committee. Ilyas also held leadership roles during the Covid-19 response and at EYOF Baku 2019, demonstrating a strong background in project management and operations. Ilyas holds a Master of Laws in Commercial Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Baku State University.
