Jose Javier Fernandez

Jose Javier Fernandez is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Application Engineering Manager at Azul 3D, Inc. since August 2018, previously holding the position of Process Engineer. Prior to this role, Jose was an Undergraduate Researcher at Matsuoka Laboratory from June 2017 to February 2018, where research focused on drug delivery modeling, specifically developing a computational model for neurotrophic factors within a microfluidic stem cell culture device. In the summer of 2015, Jose interned as a Quality Control Engineering Intern at Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala, where responsibilities included data collection and analysis for chemical contamination in machinery. Jose holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, completed in June 2018, and graduated from the American School of Guatemala in 2014.
