Vincent D'Angelo

Vincent D'Angelo is an accomplished Application Engineer at Azul 3D, Inc. since June 2022, with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Previously, D'Angelo contributed as an Undergraduate Researcher in various settings, including the Chen & Shull Research Groups at Northwestern University, where skills in stochastic image recreation and image dataset analysis were developed. Experience also includes leadership in composite materials manufacturing and validation with Northwestern Formula Racing, focusing on optimizing carbon fiber curing methods and enhancing aerodynamic simulations. Additional research experience spans validation of diffusion simulations at the University of Florida and a significant internship at Argonne National Laboratory, where literature analysis on sustainable manufacturing was conducted. D'Angelo holds a degree in Materials Science & Engineering with a concentration in Nanotechnology from Northwestern University.
