Kai Frerichs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kai is currently employed at Babbel as a Team Lead Sales - DACH. Prior to this, they worked at Podigee – Podcast Hosting & Analytics as the Head of Sales from April 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Podigee, Kai held various roles at B2B Media Group, including Senior Sales Manager from May 2016 to March 2020 and Sales Manager from January 2015 to April 2016. Kai also worked as a Sales Consultant at Kyto GmbH from February 2014 to September 2014, as an Account Manager at Blacklane GmbH from May 2013 to November 2013, and as an Apple Product Consultant at Apple from March 2012 to February 2013. Prior to these roles, Kai worked at HHV Handels GmbH in Marketing, Project Management & Logistics from August 2002 to February 2012 and at Westdeutsche Spielbanken as a Casino-Croupier from October 2000 to July 2002.

Kai Frerichs obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, which they completed between 2007 and 2010. Kai then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Sales & Innovation Management at the same institution, completing it from 2011 to 2012.
