John Ashburne

John Ashburne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial analysis, capital raising, and project finance across various industries, including energy and mining. Since November 2007, John has served as the Lead Principal and CEO of Black Horse Advisors, focusing on financial strategies for clients in renewable energy, metals, and infrastructure. Concurrently, John is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice in Finance at Babson College and has held instructional roles at institutions such as the Boston Leadership Institute and Bryant University. John's previous positions include key roles at Littoral Power Systems, Standard Bank Plc, Turner Construction Company, Black Horse Capital Advisors, Deutsche Bank, and UBS, where John specialized in structured commodity products and project finance.
