Norm Richter is an experienced legal and tax professional currently serving as a faculty member at Babson College and Boston University School of Law since June 2017. Prior to these roles, Norm held significant positions at Baxalta Inc as Vice President of Taxes & General Tax Counsel and at Baxter Healthcare as Vice President of Taxes. With a lengthy career at Textron Inc as VP of Taxes & General Tax Counsel, Norm also served in pivotal roles at the U.S. Treasury Department as International Tax Counsel and at the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance as Majority Tax Counsel. Norm's legal career began at Steptoe & Johnson LLP as an attorney and as a law clerk at the US Tax Court. Norm holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
