Graham Smith has a diverse work experience. Graham started their career in 2010 as the owner and entrepreneur of GXElectronic, where they worked until 2015. In 2014, they also worked as an engineering intern at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, U.S. Navy. Later, in 2016, Graham became a research assistant at the Michael McConnell Lab until October of the same year. In September 2016, they cofounded Babylon Micro-Farms and took on the role of CTO.
Graham Smith has pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia. No specific information regarding the start or end year of their education is available.

Alexander and Graham were initially inspired by the desire to bring benefits of sustainable hydroponic farming to those who need it the most. They set out to develop technology that would automate the complex aspects of indoor farming and in doing so make this transformative method of crop production accessible to anyone.
