Emely Medina Chaparro

Emely Medina Chaparro is an accomplished Manufacturing Excellence Manager for the NAM Region at Bacardi since April 2021, previously serving as Operations Development Manager at the Bacardi Corp. Puerto Rico Site. Prior experience includes the role of OPEX Manager at Collins Aerospace, where leadership was provided for the Operational Excellence Department and significant initiatives were implemented such as Policy Deployment Strategy and Lean Leadership events. Emely also worked at CR Bard as Business Excellence Lead and held various engineering roles including Advanced Quality Engineer and Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, emphasizing project management and Lean methodologies. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Competitiveness & Quality Management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, among other academic achievements.
