Trupti Shiralkar is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in application security and product security. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Backslash Security since December 2023, Trupti provides strategic insights on the development of advanced security tools. Previously, Trupti held the position of Director of Product Security at DocuSign from June 2024 to May 2025, where significant improvements were made to the organization's security posture, including the establishment of a successful Bug Bounty program. As the Founder of TrueNil.io from October 2023 to May 2024, Trupti launched an open-source initiative aimed at genomic data protection. Prior roles include Sr. Engineering Manager of Product Security at Datadog from September 2021 to September 2023 and Head of AppSec at Illumio from July 2019 to June 2021, where Trupti established comprehensive application security practices. Trupti holds an MS in Computer and Information Systems Security from The Johns Hopkins University and is currently enrolled in an intentional leadership program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
