Norton Daniel began their career in 2000 as a design engineer at Joy Global, formerly known as P&H Mining Equipment. Norton worked their way up to become a Senior Engineer, specializing in fluid systems such as pneumatic, lubrication, hydraulic, and HVAC systems on the electric mining shovel product line. In 2015, they transitioned to Badger Meter, where they currently hold the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Norton Daniel obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from Oklahoma State University between 1997 and 2000. Later on, they pursued further education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 2005 to 2013, earning their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering.
