Rupam Roy

Rupam Roy currently serves as a Research Associate at the Just Transition Research Centre IIT Kanpur since October 2023. Prior to this role, Rupam worked as a Research Intern at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) from March 2023 to May 2023, where significant contributions included the development of a comprehensive horticulture manual in accordance with the agroclimatic zones of India, content creation, and participation in national-level training programs focused on sustainable rural development. Rupam holds a Master of Science in Agriculture and Rural Development from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, completed in June 2023, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Geography from the University of Calcutta, earned in June 2021.
