Laura Dunne

Laura Dunne is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in fund accounting and financial services audit. Currently, Laura serves as a Fund Accountant for Private Companies at Baillie Gifford since August 2021. Previously, Laura held the position of Fund Controller for Private Equity & Infrastructure at abrdn from April 2019 to August 2021, focusing on operational, accounting, and reporting oversight for private equity funds, particularly in direct infrastructure. Laura began a career in finance at Deloitte UK from September 2015 to March 2019, where responsibilities included serving as an Assistant Manager specializing in financial services audit, particularly retail banking and pensions. Laura holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from The University of Edinburgh and is a member of ICAS, the professional body of Chartered Accountants.
