Derek Lu

Derek Lu is an incoming Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, beginning in June 2024, and currently serves as Co President of Middlebury Consulting Group while also taking on roles as Project Leader and Consultant. In addition, Derek holds positions within the Middlebury College Student Government Association as Finance Committee Director, Deputy Director, and Liaison. As a Computer Science Tutor at Middlebury College since February 2022 and previously as Solutions Development Lead at diiVe for the summer of 2023, Derek has accumulated diverse professional experience. Additional notable experiences include attending the Summit of Developing Leaders at Capital One and managing a launch day project at Fizz. Derek is also an active alumnus of Westborough High School, where leadership roles included Vice President of the Student Council and President of the Mandarin Club. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Science at Middlebury College, studies are expected to be completed in June 2025.
