Baird
Andrew Ferguson is a Partner with Baird Capital. Based in London, he leads Baird Capital’s Technology & Services team. Andrew’s private equity career began in 1993 at North of England Ventures, where he held responsibility for managing the regional fund for the North East. Prior to joining North of England Ventures, he spent seven years with Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, latterly in corporate finance advising on mid-market buyouts, growth capital investments and M&A. Andrew spent five years in Leeds working for Granville Private Equity Managers before joining Baird on its acquisition of Granville in 1999. Andrew has served as a director on the boards of a large variety of businesses over a private equity career that spans in excess of 25 years. He currently serves on the board of directors of bfinance, Blue Matter, Crisp and Aura. Andrew has an economics degree from Warwick University.
