Soumyajyoti Ghosh has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Soumyajyoti began their career in 2001 as a Territory Sales Manager at Philips Lighting. Soumyajyoti then moved on to Citi, where they worked as a Branch Manager from 2003 to 2004.
Ghosh joined HP in 2004 and held various roles during their tenure. Soumyajyoti worked as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and later as the Country Business Manager for E-Commerce & Online. During their time at HP, Ghosh was involved in setting up and expanding the HP Online Store in India, managing HP's printing supplies and consumables business growth in the West zone, and successfully managing the distribution and retail transition in the India West region.
In 2016, Ghosh joined Bajaj Electricals Ltd as the Senior General Manager and Head of E-Commerce, Modern Trade, and Corporate Sales. Soumyajyoti was responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives in these areas until April 2020.
Ghosh then joined Samsung Electronics as the General Manager for the Online Business in the Consumer Electronics department from May 2020 to September 2020.
Currently, Ghosh is working at Bajaj Electricals Ltd as the Vice President and Business Head for Alternate Channels (E-Com/MT/Institutions/CSD & CPC). In this role, they provide strategic leadership for the Consumer Durable Business Unit and is responsible for directing functional leads in the areas of sales and category management.
Soumyajyoti Ghosh obtained a Certification in Organizational Leadership & Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2018. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management and General Management at PGDM.
