Philip Potter

Philip Potter possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Chief Consulting Engineer and Discipline Leader at Baker Hughes since July 2017. Promoted to Principal Engineer in the Offshore Center of Excellence, Philip provides consultation and technical direction for global offshore projects. Previously, at GE Oil & Gas from June 2009 to June 2017, Philip held various engineering roles, including Principal Engineer and Engineering Team Leader, focusing on bespoke engineering design and qualification programs within the Subsea Wellhead Engineering team. Early career experiences include positions at VETCO GRAY UK LTD, where Philip specialized in Subsea Wellhead systems and design engineering. Philip holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 2004.
