Seyma Kara

Seyma Kara has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Seyma began their career as an English Lecturer at Beykent University and Galatasaray Üniversitesi. In 2014, they began working as a freelance Digital Marketing Specialist for maralhairklinik. In 2017, they created a Facebook-like social network website as a Fullstack Developer, using Python/Django and MySQL, which they deployed to an EC2 instance in AWS. In 2018, they worked as a Frontend Developer for the Valley Medical Center Foundation, and as a Full Stack Developer for their own projects WatchLog and an E-commerce software. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer for Balbix and as a Backend and Frontend Developer for their own project Barebnb.

Seyma Kara's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Education from Boğaziçi University (2006-2010), a Master's Degree in Sociolinguistics from Syracuse University (2014), a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics from Bahcesehir University (2013-2016), and an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program from Hack Reactor (2019). Seyma also holds two Nanodegrees from Udacity, a Digital Marketing Nanodegree (2017) and an Introduction To Programming Nanodegree (2017).
