Charlene Alexander

Charlene Alexander serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Associate Provost for Diversity at Ball State University, where responsibilities include overseeing the Office of Institutional Diversity, dedicated to enhancing the recruitment, retention, and appreciation of diverse faculty and staff. Additionally, Charlene is a Professor in Counseling Psychology and directs the School Counseling Program. Previously, roles included Associate Professor at Oregon State University, Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Ball State University, and various positions at Fordham University, including Assistant Professor and Associate Provost for Diversity. Charlene holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and master's and bachelor's degrees in Counseling and Psychology from Creighton University.
