Pouya Jamzad

Pouya Jamzad is a Manufacturing Engineer at Ballard Power Systems since April 2019, specializing in the manufacturing process for graphite-based fuel cell bipolar plates and developing processes for high-volume production of next-generation fuel cell components. Prior to this, Pouya worked at Terrella Energy Systems from December 2017 to April 2019, focusing on process development for graphite bipolar plates, as well as manufacturing and testing graphite heat exchangers, along with designing fixtures, tooling, and test beds. Pouya gained initial experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Westport Fuel Systems in late 2017, conducting comparative research on fuel cell, electric vehicle, and natural gas technologies. Pouya holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Simon Fraser University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2011-2015).
