Cathyann Bixby

Cathyann Bixby is the Chief Partner Recruiting Officer at Ballard Spahr LLP, a position held since February 2008. Prior to this role, Bixby was the Litigation Practice Group Director at Dechert LLP from August 1984 to January 2008, where responsibilities included reporting to the Department Chair and Vice Chair, as well as the litigation practice group leaders. Bixby also served as Corporate Paralegal Manager and Senior Bankruptcy and Corporate Paralegal, participating in the Paralegal Management Committee to implement firm policies. Academic qualifications include a Masters of Science in Education with a focus on Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Temple University, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and German from Widener University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of South Carolina.
