Ballet Arizona
Astrit Zejnati is a seasoned ballet professional with extensive experience in both performance and teaching. Currently serving as Ballet Master at Ballet Etudes since 2016, Zejnati has also held the position of Principal Dancer, ballet teacher, and coach at Ballet Arizona since August 2003. Prior to these roles, Zejnati was a Principal Dancer at Miami City Ballet from 2001 to 2003 and a soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet from 1996 to 2001. Zejnati's educational background includes training at the University of Oklahoma from 1994 to 1996 and the National School of Ballet in Albania from 1985 to 1992.

Ballet Arizona is under the artistic direction of Ib Andersen, who was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for over a decade. An administrative team and community Board of Directors provides support services and oversight for the company’s activities, and is assisted by the dedicated efforts of an enthusiastic Volunteer Corps. Ballet Arizona is dedicated to serving the people of central Arizona through Education and Community Outreach programs, which touch the lives of more than 35,000 children each year.
