Daniel Gonzalez has an extensive work experience in the field of product management and development. Daniel started their career as a Developer and Operations Analyst at Cámara de Compensación de Divisas de Colombia in 2012. In this role, they worked until January 2016.
Following that, they joined PayU in January 2016 as a Product Owner. During their time at PayU, Daniel led the construction of a new Onboarding process and risk assessment for multiple countries including Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. Daniel also designed, built, and launched various products to increase the adoption of electronic payments in Colombia. In addition, they defined and executed PayU's product strategy for Brazil and managed the roadmap for the local market, including new products and Fintech industry regulations. Daniel worked at PayU until July 2022.
Currently, Daniel is working at Bamboo Payment Systems since August 2022 in the role of Product Lead. Daniel is responsible for the product strategy and managing the roadmap for the company. In February 2023, they will transition into the role of Head of Product at Bamboo Payment Systems.

From 2018 to 2019, they attended Universidad de Los Andes and earned a specialization in Social Management and Design in Technology, focusing on Engineering Design.
From 2006 to 2012, they studied at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and obtained a degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Computer Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, Daniel Gonzalez has also obtained several certifications. In January 2018, they achieved the UX-PM Nivel 3 certification from UXalliance. Prior to that, in November 2017, they acquired the UXPM: Nivel 2 certification, followed by the UXPM: Nivel 1 certification in October 2017, both from UXalliance.
