David Petersen

David Petersen is an experienced IT operations professional currently serving as the Director of IT Operations at BambooHR since January 2021. Prior to this role, David worked at OC Tanner from November 2011 to January 2021, where responsibilities included Director of Systems and Infrastructure and Manager of System Services. David's earlier experience includes a position as Manager of Systems Administration at Spark Networks from August 2006 to November 2011, and a role as Systems Administrator at Omniture from 2005 to 2006. David began a career in systems administration at Verio from 1997 to 2005 and has also contributed as a Board of Trustees member for North Star Academy, Inc., a charter school in Bluffdale, Utah. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University, completed in 2000.
