Rui Nunes has a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, and auditing. Rui started their career as a Financial Auditor at MConsult in 2006 and worked there until 2009. Rui then joined NOVO BANCO as a Financial Controller from 2009 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Banco CTT, where they first worked as an Accounting (PMO) until 2019. From 2019 onwards, they have been serving as the Head of Financial Reporting at Banco CTT.
Rui Nunes completed their education in Portugal. Rui first attended the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a Licenciado degree in Controlo Financeiro. In 2007, they also obtained a certification as Técnico Oficial de Contas from the Ordem dos Técnicos Oficiais de Contas. Later, in 2010-2011, they attended the Instituto Superior de Gestão and completed a Curso in Specialization, Financial Instruments.
