Neo Zhang

Neo Zhang is a highly experienced database administrator with a robust background in managing large-scale database systems across various environments. Currently serving as a Senior Database Administrator at Banfield Pet Hospital since April 2017, Neo oversees over 1000 hospital servers and their centralized database systems within a mixed clustering and Azure environment. Prior to this role, Neo held positions at Viewpoint Construction Software, where management of over 300 SQL Server instances occurred, and Absolute Software, with responsibilities including performance tuning and issue resolution for production-class SQL Servers. Earlier career experiences include serving as DBA Manager at eLong, Inc., where duties involved optimizing database operations, and as a Software Developer at Hitachi Information Systems, focusing on system design and client troubleshooting. Neo holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Civil Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
