John Peterson, CPA, CFE has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. John started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Bell State Bank & Trust in 2011, where they focused on providing excellent customer service and handling daily transactions. In 2013, John joined Eide Bailly LLP, a top CPA firm, as a Senior Audit Associate specializing in the financial institution industry. John remained with the firm until 2019. Additionally, John served as a Military Police Sergeant in the Army National Guard from 2007 to 2015, where they were responsible for the welfare of their team. Currently, John is the Chief Financial Officer at Bank Forward, where they utilize their extensive financial and accounting expertise to provide direction and make recommendations for the company's resource management and operating efficiency.
John Peterson, CPA, CFE, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from North Dakota State University in 2013. In July 2014, they obtained the certification of Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and in July 2019, they received their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the North Dakota State Board of Accountancy.
