Sarah Larson has extensive experience in the banking industry. Sarah started their career at Community First National Bank as a Com'l/Ag Lien Perfection Supervisor, where they built and managed the centralized collateral lien perfection department. Sarah then moved on to Starion Financial as a Credit Analyst II - Business/Agricultural.
Sarah joined Bank of the West as a Com'l/Ag Loan Doc Prep Supervisor and later became a Business/Agricultural Underwriter III, AVP. Sarah performed financial analysis of commercial and agricultural loans and provided guidance to sales staff. Sarah also supervised a team of Loan Documentation Specialists and oversaw bank conversion projects.
At Dakota Certified Development Corporation, Sarah served as VP Lending & Operations, heading the commercial credit, loan operations, and compliance functions. Sarah was responsible for commercial loan processing, credit underwriting, loan documentation, closing, and servicing.
Sarah later worked at Designer Homes of Fargo-Moorhead as CFO / Staff Accountant before joining BlackRidgeBANK as an AVP, Credit Officer. In this role, they conducted financial review and analysis of complex commercial clients, provided mentoring and credit training, and managed the Commercial Loan Administration team.
Currently, Sarah works at Bank Forward as the Chief Loan Operations Officer.
Sarah Larson attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2012, they also briefly studied Agricultural Lending at the National School for Experienced Ag Lenders, although they did not receive a degree in this field.
