Ben Sorensen

Ben Sorensen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director responsible for IT, Analytics, Currency, and Corporate Portfolio at Bank of Canada, Ben has held multiple senior positions since joining in April 2012, including Senior Director for IT, CA Portfolio and People Strategy, and Senior Director of HR Client Services. Prior to Bank of Canada, Ben was Director at PPI Consulting, where the focus was on addressing critical challenges faced by the public sector, and also served as Senior Manager at Deloitte from 2003 to 2007. Ben holds an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and an undergraduate degree from Queen's University.
