Joaquin Cook has a diverse work experience. Joaquin started their career with Bank of Guam in 2007, where they held various roles. Joaquin served as the President & CEO of the company from March 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as the VP/Compliance Manager, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and managing a team of four. Joaquin also served as a Member of the Board of Directors. In 2010, Joaquin joined Isla Petroleum & Energy, LLC as a Member of the Management Committee.

Joaquin Cook completed their high school education at St. John's School, earning a Highschool Diploma. Joaquin then attended UC San Diego from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued an MBA in Finance/Real Estate at the University of San Diego.
