Joe Weingarten

Joe Weingarten is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured finance and investment advisory roles. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Structured Finance at Bank of Hope since May 2025, Weingarten previously held multiple senior positions at East West Bank, where responsibilities included managing structured finance and client relationships. Throughout a significant tenure at Recreational Capital, LLC as Executive Vice President and COO, Weingarten specialized in financing solutions for developers, primarily focusing on resort properties in North America. Additional experience includes co-founding BTC Capital Partners, serving as COO at Stratton Group of Companies, and holding senior roles at Developer Finance Corporation and Nomura Securities. Weingarten's career began at ING, where leadership in asset-backed finance was established. Weingarten holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from New York University.
