Over the past five years, we’ve spent literally thousands of hours writing about money and searching for the best bank bonuses. To say we’re obsessed is an understatement. No joke.

In the low-interest world we live in today, you can’t expect to earn anything more than maybe 0.50% on the money you keep in a high yield savings account. That’s only $5 per year for every $1k you have saved. Gee, thanks.
