Batool Zaidi Syed

Batool Zaidi Syed has a diverse work experience in the financial sector and communications. Batool began their career at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology as a Communications Officer in 2011. Batool then joined FGB in 2012, where they worked as a Management Trainee and Assistant Manager in various roles. In 2017, they moved to First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and held positions as Assistant Vice President, VP & Strategy Principal, and currently serves as the SVP - Group Strategy since January 2022. Overall, Batool has gained extensive experience in strategy development, business analysis, and leadership throughout their career.

Batool Zaidi Syed completed the Management Acceleration Programme at INSEAD in 2017. Batool obtained a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Karachi University. Batool also obtained certifications in "Innovation in the Age of Disruption" from INSEAD Executive Education and "Prince2" from PeopleCert in 2015. Batool participated in the Women's Leadership Program at Yale School of Management, although the year of completion is unknown.
