Colin Simpson

Colin Simpson currently serves as the UK Chief Operating Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank since January 2022, holding the title of SMF 24. Prior to this role, Colin Simpson was the UK Chief Control Officer at HSBC from May 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included Senior Manager of the Chief Control Office and Head of Operational Risk for HSBC Commercial Banking. Earlier experience includes serving as European Risk Manager at Barclays and as Manager in Risk Consultancy at KPMG. Additionally, Colin Simpson was the Head of Risk and Compliance at G4S from April 2008 to August 2013. Colin Simpson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, obtained between September 2002 and September 2006.
