Symon Turner

Symon Turner is an experienced Advanced Applications Engineer at Banner Engineering since June 2021, specializing in sensors, safety, lighting, industrial wireless/connectivity, and vision/barcode applications for industrial automation and IIoT. Responsibilities include proposing solutions to customers, providing technical support and training, generating sales leads via Salesforce, and collaborating with engineering teams for product modifications. Previously, Symon worked as a Product Design Engineer at Liquibox, focusing on the development of plastic injection molded parts, and served as a Project Manager during a senior design project with Graco, leading the design of a semi-automated machine. Additional experience includes technical support roles at HCL Technologies and Normandale Community College, and production support at EI Microcircuits. Symon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
