Edgar Davila has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Edgar is currently working as a Director de Ingenieria de Software at Bantrab since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Cofundador and VP of Business Development at dX Latam from October 2019 to November 2022. At dX Latam, they were responsible for generating business opportunities, pre-selling Oracle products, and developing strategic alliances. Edgar also worked as a Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocios at ITLand, S.A. from October 2018 to January 2019. Edgar Davila has experience as a Professor of Project Management at Universidad Francisco Marroquín from January 2019 to January 2021. Their earlier work experience includes serving as a Gerente de Desarrollo Tecnologico at Banco GyT Continental, where they played a key role in defining the technological strategy for the financial group at a regional level and managed a team of engineers across multiple countries from June 2006 to September 2018.

Edgar Davila holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INCAE Business School, which they obtained between 2003 and 2005. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they earned a degree in Engineering (Ingeniero) in the field of Ciencias y Sistemas from 1988 to 1994. Edgar also has a high school diploma, achieving a Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras in the field of Ciencias y Letras from Colegio Castillo Cordova between 1977 and 1987. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Oracle Eloqua Marketing Cloud Service Sales Specialist and Oracle Eloqua Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer Specialist from Oracle in 2020, as well as the certification for migrating infrastructure and data estate to Azure from Microsoft in 2018.
